2005 Monte di Sassi Estate Red Table Wine Sonoma Valley
The 2005 Monte di Sassi is the latest and greatest Supertuscan -styled wine hand crafted by Favero. Rich aromas of blueberry, violet pastille, cocoa and fresh roasted coffee beans ... moreabound. The mouthfeel is luscious and loaded with dense flavors of fresh blackberries, bing cherries, and subtle earthtones. The long dry finish works well with matured cheeses, lamb, sausage, grilled vegetables, or pastas with zesty red sauce. Balanced structure provides the wine with agability in the 3-8 year range. All grapes used to create the Monte di Sassi are estate grown.

2003 Estate Sangiovese Sonoma Valley
The process to make this 2003 Estate Sangiovese started at harvest with the selection of very ripe fruit. These flavors are still very pronounced in the bottle. In addition, aromas ... more of rose petals, coffee, cedar and dark chocolate are combined with this big, luscious fruit, spice, and balanced oak. Food pairings range from Charcuterie and mature cheese plates, gourmet pizzas, beef, seasoned pork, and zest sauces. This is not a light wine by any means; 3-5 years of aging is recommended. All grapes were estate grown and no commercial pesticides used during growing season.
