2003 Estate Sangiovese Sonoma Valley
The process to make this 2003 Estate Sangiovese started at harvest with the selection of very ripe fruit. These flavors are still very pronounced in the bottle. In addition, aromas of rose petals, coffee, cedar and dark chocolate are combined with this big, luscious fruit, spice, and balanced oak. Food pairings range from Charcuterie and mature cheese plates, gourmet pizzas, beef, seasoned pork, and zest sauces. This is not a light wine by any means; 3-5 years of aging is recommended. All grapes were estate grown and no commercial pesticides used during growing season. |
