| Talisman's goal is very simple: the creation of delicious Pinot Noirs that are true to their roots and accurately reflect their places of origin. Each of Talisman's vineyards have been selected for their unique site characteristics and potential to convey distinctive and singular terroirs. Emphasis is placed on achieving perfection in the vineyard and preserving the essence of place. Rather than manipulating the wines in the cellar to achieve stylistic goals, each individual vineyard dictates wine style and bottlings are typically a diminutive 200 to 300 cases. | Napa, CA

This is a high elevation, cold & foggy vineyard on the northwest flank of Sonoma Mountain. 2004 is the first vintage from the vineyard which exhibits deep, dark flavors of blackber ... morery, blueberry, anise and mineral. It's BIG wine that pairs nicely with venison, mole sauce and other deep, rich and spicy foods. yum! We made just 208 cases of this wine.
