We are proud to present our very first dry rose, named after our daughter Elaine. It is light, crisp and refreshing, especially on those hot summer nights!

2006 Riviera Rosé
Paso Robles

50% Grenache
25% Syrah
25% Mouvedre

A delicious, dry, versatile, Southern-French style rosé wine made by saigneé of Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre. Close your ey ...morees and imagine yourself on the French Riviera.

Riviera is a dry Rosé wine made by saigneé of Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre. We named after the French Riviera. On the coast of Southern France it is too warm in July and August to drink red wine. So the French drink Rosés. Chilled, very aromatic and dry, the Rosés are lighter than red wines but still offer a significant weight in the mouth. Marketta first began to make a Rosé for her and Jean-Noel's own Summer consumption, when entertaining guests and friends at their house or at the winery.

2006 Ménage à Trois Rosé
Napa Valley

Good rosé is like a carnival in your mouth—and not one of your low rent carnivals. We’re talking about your really classy, country fair kind of carnival. Our 2006 Ménage à Trois is ...more the epitome of a good rosé. No pretension, no pretense. Just a fruit-laden roller coaster ride of raspberries, strawberries, lychee nuts and flowers with a silky smooth finish.

This 2006 is a madcap blend of Merlot, Syrah and Gewürztraminer. The two red grapes received as 24-hour cold soak on the skins to give the wine its suggestive pinkness and luscious body. The Gewürztraminer was cold fermented to preserve the exotic spice and naked fruit. No malolactic fermentation here-just crisp acidity.

2005 Rosado
Clements Hills

Our Rosado is made in a dry, Mediterranean rosé style from our Garnacha vines. It is a fruit driven and crisp example of the Roses that dot Spanish restaurant tables from the Sprin ...moreg through Fall. Notes of strawberry and red cherry aromas lead the way to fruity bright and jammy flavors in the mouth. Served chilled, Rosado is a wonderful start to an evening meal or a festive gathering.

Help us Reach Our Goal!

Our goal at Tamayo Family Vineyards is to raise $7,000 as a team donation to the San Francisco Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer. This annu ...moreal fund-raising event supports breast cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. With each bottle of CANA Rosé sold, Tamayo Family Vineyards will add contributions to our Team Donation. Together we can make a difference!

Our sophomore release of CANA Rosé takes a delicious 'varietal' path by including our estate grown Syrah as the featured grape. This dry blush wine displays real Syrah character with abundant aromatics of strawberry, rhubarb and notes of white pepper with some dusty cocoa. The palate is vivid with flavor and depth. Showing tastes of splashy black raspberries and refreshing acidity, this is a serious Rosé that appeals well to the avid and novice wine lover with equal endearment.

This pleasing medium bodied wine creates the perfect foil for Turkey, Ham and lighter game meals. Serve either chilled or at cellar temperature.

Slow barrel fermentation and a unique Rhone yeast isolate have beveled any sharp, youthful edges. The atypical vinification methods and our proprietary blend allow us to offer this fresh, pleasingly complex and totally dry white wine alternative to the serious wine lover.
