Our sophomore release of CANA RosÃ© takes a delicious 'varietal' path by including our estate grown Syrah as the featured grape. This dry blush wine displays real Syrah character with abundant aromatics of strawberry, rhubarb and notes of white pepper with some dusty cocoa. The palate is vivid with flavor and depth. Showing tastes of splashy black raspberries and refreshing acidity, this is a serious RosÃ© that appeals well to the avid and novice wine lover with equal endearment.

This pleasing medium bodied wine creates the perfect foil for Turkey, Ham and lighter game meals. Serve either chilled or at cellar temperature.

Shortly after the Mariafeld clone Pinot from the Mission Ranch was crushed and put into 1Â½ ton open-topped fermenters, juice was drawn off the skins and put into two neutral-oak b ...morearrels. The pink wine was then fermented completely dry and bottled after only seven months.

This Rose is a lovely shade of coral. In the nose, subtle aromas of orange oil, caraway seed, and cherries give way to a rich mid-palate full of flavor and a dry, persistent finish with great food-pairing acidity. Just over 40 cases of this wine were produced.
