| Shari and Garen Staglin, and their children Brandon and Shannon, have embraced a commitment to making “Great wines for great causes.” Since they began farming their vineyard in 1985, they have devoted a significant portion of their wine proceeds to generating support for charities, including their main cause, their Music Festival for Mental Health. They also work to improve their land’s biodiversity, and keep their vineyard healthy with organic farming. Their on-site winery caves run on solar power and well water, and live underneath forest land. Not only does this keep the winery’s “carbon footprint” small, but it allows their land’s unique “terroir” to shine through, adding up to great wine.
