2006 Truett Nolan California Pinot Noir
We went through and tasted numerous different possible blends before we arrived at this combination. We then racked the barrels together by gravity and went back to barrel. All told, we kept this wine in barrel for 16 months and bottled it unfined and unfiltered. The Truett Nolan Pinot Noir is designed to be a wine of great balance with richness
and yet enough backbone and acidity to allow it to age well. It already demonstrated complex red and black fruit flavors as well as hints of herbs and earth. The finish is long, closing down now and only hinting at the overall greatness that the wine possesses. We would imagine this wine would age well for up to 10 years.
