Findleton Estate & Winery Zinfandel |
2005 Zinfandel El Dorado County
The Findleton Estate and Winery Zinfandel was hand picked and fermented with 30% whole berries to produce an elegant, fruit forward Zinfandel. A combination of selected yeast strains were used for individual fermentations, and resulting wines were later blended to enhance complexity and primary fruit characters. The wine was aged in a combination of new and neutral oak for 18 months. The nose
exhibits aromas of strawberry and briar complimented by anise, clove, tobacco, hickory smoke, and pepper. |
