2004 Syrah

The 2004 vintage granted us an opportunity to separate prime lots of our estate Syrah into two bottlings. The larger piece of the harvest made its way to our "Celebration Red". The smaller barrel lots are found here in our freshman release of Tamayo Syrah.
This wine displays bright red fruit while the influence of sweet French and American Oak vanilla playfully intermingles with our signature cocoa dust nuance. On the palate, this red favors finesse over power by offering bramble berry fruit impressions framed by white peppercorn and Asian spices. Once again this estate vineyard favors offering wines that pair well with grilled entrees and full flavored cuisines.
