This Syrah reminds me of an old world wine. It has a deep color with dark berry aromas combined with spice and mint. It has very concentrated flavors of dark berries, which carry to the palate, adding layers of cherry and smoke.
This is a well balanced wine has an abundance of the savory type flavors. The wine finishes with a long and lingering finish adding herbal and spicy flavors combined with smoky notes reminiscent of bacon. This is a big wine worthy of aging for several years for optimum quality.
