The wine was made in our “Submerged Cap Fermentation Tank” and aged for about a year in predominantly French Oak barrels. The aroma of this wine is dominated by black cherry with nuances of black pepper. On the palate the dark fruit character becomes more pronounced adding layers of black berries and cassis while the black pepper flavor also intensifies. The long finish has more dark fruit with added layers of coffee and spice. This wine is very well balanced with a strong varietal identity.
This wine which is very drinkable now will age graciously and will become a gem in years to come. |
