Amador County
Most of the grapes used for this wine come from a hillside vineyard in Amador County farmed by Vicki Delpart. My style of wine is fully extracted with fruit forward, good balance, a complex mid-palate and a long lingering finish.
This Zinfandel meets all the criteria of my style of wine. It is well balanced with deep color and typical varietal flavor and aroma. The dark berry flavors progress in the mid-palate to cherry and plum and the bold finish of chocolate lingers pleasantly long after the wine is consumed.
