Mason Cellars Sauvignon Blanc |
2005 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Russian River, Sonoma County, California
Our first Reserve made from 34 year old Sauvignon Blanc vineyard located in the Russian River, Sonoma County appellation. The vineyard is planted on a sandy loam, lying on top of a volcanic cinder cone. The wine was crushed and fermented for 35 days then aged in stainless steel drums and stirred 3 to 5 times a week for 4 consecutive months. This is a rich, satiny sauvignon blanc with great acid, perfumy nose and wonderfully long, grapefruity finish. |
