| Sierra Knolls is a small family-owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the Sierra Foothills, between Auburn and Grass Valley, 20 minutes off of Hwy 49. We produce small lots of fine wine with close attention to every detail of the wine-making process. Every step is completed by the owners, John & Linda Chase and Steve & Brenda Taylor. Wines are aged in French & American oak barrels in our 50 foot cave. Beginning with our first vintage in 1999, our wines have been known for consistently high quality, robust fruit, big noses and long satisfying finishes. Come visit our beautiful acreage, vineyard, barrel cave and friendly tasting room. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on our patios or picnic areas with a magnificent view of the valley and coastal range, ponds and vineyards. Relax and chat with the winemaker.
