Murphy and Goode were growers who helped to pioneer Alexander Valley. They brought wire trellising, broad scale drip irrigation and leaf pulling to the valley. Today, all of our Murphy-Goode wines are grown in Sonoma County, and the estate wines grown exclusively on our 300 acres in the heart of Alexander Valley.
CrazyAboutWine recommends contacting Murphy-Goode Estate Winery at http://www.murphygoodewinery.com or calling (707) 431-7644 to verify the winery's location.
Blackberry, cherry, raspberry and cassis continually change places in this wine depending on the food pairing. These complex berry flavors balance well with the acid and firm tannins add longevity. Try this with rack of lamb, duck or grilled veal chop.
