Established in 1977 on what was once part of the original Estrella River Winery Vineyards, Laura's Vineyard traces its heritage to the very beginnings of Paso Robles wine country history. Estrella River Winery was one of the first of the present day era wineries in the emerging Paso Robles wine country. The principle investors and operators in Estrella were Paso Robles wine country pioneers Cliff Giacobine, his half brother Gary Eberle, a former football star at Penn State, and former Pittsburgh Steeler halfback Rocky Bleier. Cliff and Gary named this vineyard after their mother Laura Eberle. During her retirement years and until her death in 1980, Laura lived and worked with personal dedication on this beautiful vineyard just East of Paso Robles. She spent long hours propagating rootings for planting, and dreaming of the time when her vines would be recognized as some of the best in the area. | Paso Robles, CA Phone: 800-659-0820
