What began many years ago as a casual interest escalated into a passionate search for a place to make a very unique wine. When we found our tiny jewel-like vineyard nestled between rolling knolls in Napa Valley, Gemstone seemed the perfect name.
This rocky slope yields only a minuscule crop of intensely flavored small berries, but after years of hard work and worry, when we finally put the first wine to our lips, you couldn't have chiseled the grins from our faces!
