Santa Ynez Valley
Cabernet Franc is a very old variety which is still dominant in parts of the Loire Valley and Bordeaux. This wine derives from grapes grown in our Valley View Vineyard, east of Solvang in the Santa Ynez Valley and was aged for 19 months in 1-5 year old French oak barrels. It exhibits aromas of blueberry, kirsch and black cherry with flavors of big, rich, dark, blackberry-raspberry jam followed by ripe, chewy tannins and a long rich finish.
