Lambert Bridge Winery
Merlot

2004 Merlot
Sonoma County

Vibrant aromas of fresh raspberry, black cherry, sweet toasty oak and spice characterize this vintage of Merlot. The flavors are full and round, fulfilling the promise of the bright aromatics. A rich supple texture and silky polished tannins give the wine a long, lingering finish.

With 16 months in French Oak barrels and a full year in the bottle, this vintage is complex and delicious, showing nuances of cocoa and warm brown spice.

Very enjoyable now, this wine will continue to improve for at least 5-7 years when cellared properly.

We recommend serving with Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Pan Seared Duck Breasts with Lentils or fresh baked Chocolate Chip Cookies.
