2006 Big Ass Chard Napa Valley
It’s okay to call this wine fat! Rich flavors of caramel and toasty oak are balanced by fresh notes of lemon, melon and a slight mineral character. Over half the wine was barrel-fermented in a mix of old and new oak barrels and then aged for over 9 months in barrel. The palate is round and soft with a lingering finish. |
