Edna Valley
A saturated blue-black color in the glass, the aromas remind us of black pepper-rubbed salumi, gunpowder, and star anise. A dry herb and floral quality continues in the mouth, with lavender, chamomile, and sage balancing the big blueberry and blackcurrant fruit. We’ve watched this wine evolve in barrel and bottle, developing delicious nuances slowly over time. We anticipate more of these revelations, in the glass and in the cellar, over the next several years.
