The 2007 Esterlina Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir is very much like our 2006 Anderson Valley Reserve Pinot Noir—a wine we believe to be among the best we have ever produced. Again, from this vineyard, one is apt to get those ripe black cherry, plum, earthy mushroom and spicy cinnamon flavors, and this wine shows those traits. For as ripe as it is, however, it has more than enough acidity. It ends with the customary very long finish.
