more about Petite Sirah
Collier Falls Vineyards
Petite Sirah

2005 Petite Sirah
Dry Creek Valley

The 2005 Collier Falls Petite Sirah has a dark purple color and displays aromas of blueberry and clove on the nose. On the palate the wine shows an earthy character with hints of white pepper spice. A soft tannic structure coupled with a touch of toasty oak, gives the wine an elegant finish. Aged in French and American oak barrels for 20 months, the wine displays a hint of toasty oak. - Mike Lancaster, Winemaker
