2002 L'Aventure Syrah
Paso Robles

A deep, dark wine, with purple tints, L'Aventure Syrah has a rich, complex nose of pepper and violets. An aggressive attack on the palate is sustained by significant tannins, with notes of blueberry, pepper and violet in the long finish. Soft and drinkable now, this wine will cellar well up to a decade.

It doesn't have the awsome bange of 2001, but it is memorable.
Pairs well with I liked it just on it's own - it can be great with steak
