Cépage; 51% Syrah, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. Deep ruby, center to edges, and a classic Optimus nose of cassis, blueberry, and cola. Broad on the palate are tar, leather, dark berries, and licorice. Long, delicious, Optimus. It’s a shame that this wine is overshadowed by Estate Cuvee. It is incredibly complex and elegant. Not chopped liver! The good news; 4,000 cases produced!
