2006 Pinot Noir
Yorkville Highlands, Mendocino

The 2006 Pinot Noir presents attractive vibrant hues of purples and reds, followed by bright aromas of dark cherry and raspberry with a nuance of nutmeg and an underscore of smokey new oak. Flavors illustrate rich dark cherry with a soft elegant approach, notes of toasted French barrels and an underlying sense of terroir. This is an elegant Pinot noir with lovely structure and a sense of charm. Enjoy it with wild mushroom risotto or roast chicken with herbs de Provence.
