Dry Creek Valley, Lavender Hill Vineyard

The first significant yield from this young mountain vineyard, it’s plush and rich and shows beautiful potential, with a medium weight on the palate and no jarring tannins. The fruit is reminiscent of wild blackberries with hints of raspberry, and the oak is subtle and tinged with smoke and vanilla. There’s also a nuance of black pepper as you savor the long, smooth finish.
