Deep ruby color, brilliantly clear. In the nose there are powerful aromas of ripe blackberries, combined with a touch of vanilla from the oak. In the mouth, plum notes and a mouth-coating molasses mid-palate finish with complex nuances of walnut, cedar and spicy anise. This is a beautiful wine for grilled or barbecued meats, but also works wonderfully with rich cheeses or on its own as a final contemplative wine at the end of a wonderful day.
