This wine has charisma - fruity, velvety, and spicy all in one. The wine has a bay and wild sage aroma that reminds me of my childhood here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The palate has an interesting clove character balanced by elegant violet and raspberry notes. In my mind this wine is perfect, full of aroma and flavor, with a real sense of place. Most wines do not give you a complete sensory experience, but when you find one, it’s special and requires a special occasion to drink the wine. Whether your occasion is Easter dinner, or that it’s almost the weekend, sit back and take the time to enjoy this Cab Franc. I promise it will be worth it.
