2003 Grands Amis Carignane Reserve

This wine surprises with prune and nougat aromas, gently mixed with some vanilla flavors generated from the French Oak. It has a good rounded mid pallet and tannin structure, followed by a good acidic and white pepper finish. This old vine Carignane (1942 vines planted in rich loamy soils) will become the flagship wine of Grands Amis' old world tradition.
It has been aged for 27 months in 100% second fill French Oak Barrels.
Alcohol 14.2%
Total Production: 47 cases
