Aromas of crushed Rose petal and sweet oak lead to a palate of ripe, concentrated dark berry. Black Cherry, Black Raspberry, maybe even a hint of plum all come through and linger impressively. The wine is rich and deep, yet supple, finishing with hints of spice and vanilla. A masculine wine that will pair beautifully with grilled wild salmon or roast pheasant. It is also a great wine to drink with a pepperoni pizza!
