Kamen Wines Cabernet Sauvignon |
2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Valley
The 2004 Kamen Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the unique terroir found in the highest western hills of the Mayacamas Range in Sonoma County. This wine has lovely foward aromas of crushed flower petals, licorice, black cherry, blueberry, and hints of allspice, mocha and Bosc pear. Lively on the palate the flavors are an extraction of blackberries, roasted stone fruits, blueberries, pomegranate and lavender. With a weighty mid-palate and great blance, this Cabernet Sauvignon has a big mouth coating, long finish of dark fruits, tobacco and mocha with well-intergrated oak tannins. While the focus is on the extraction and power of the fruit from this site, the wine speaks more of its embodiments of finesse and balance. |
