These estate-grown grapes were hand-harvested October 5th – 24th, 2001 from vines planted in 1969 on our Los Amigos Ranch. Our Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in small lots and then aged 10 months in American oak.
Our 2001 Estate Bottled Cabernet has enticing scents of cedar, cassis and oregano. These aromas, married together with maple and red cherry on the palate, provide for a full bodied, well balanced wine that evolves in the glass. A great selection for aging or to enjoy with dinner tonight!
