Copeland Creek Vineyards Pinot Noir |
2004 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
The rocky, well-drained hills sloping up from Copeland Creek provide an ideal terroir for this classic Pinot Noir. Morning fog and afternoon breezes drift inland from the Sonoma Coast to cool down the summer heat for longer maturation of the varietal fruit character. Earthy black cherry, raspberry and spice notes layer with supple, velvety smoke to form a complex balance with a long finish. This elegant wine compliments either rich or subtle flavors and is eminently drinkable all on its own. |
