This wine showcases the generous Chardonnay fruit from our Napa Valley vineyards. Rich, ripe and exotic, it strikes a balance of ripe Napa Valley fruit with nuances of sweet oak from 100% barrel fermentation and extended barrel age. Use of wild yeast in a portion of the fermentation and sur lie aging adds layers of complexity.
Notes of peach, pear and apple combined with hints of tropical aromas and toasted nuttiness. Lively and lengthy on the palate with a great body and structure. Mineral notes linger and the finish is crisp, creamy and clean with apple and citrus flavors.
