2003 Semillon Sonoma
This wine is crisp and dry, exhibiting tropical aromas and round flavors of ripe melon. Ten months in French oak barrels contributed a delicate vanilla richness. Paul Rued planted his one acre parcel with left-over Semillon cuttings given to him by a neighboring farmer 40 years ago. Serve with spicy Asian, poultry, seafood, or Eggs Benedict.
